The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) presented complimentary Thailand Elite Cards to three British cave divers who played a crucial role in the nine-day rescue of the 12 young Wild Boar football team and their coach in Tham Luang Cave last June-July.
The cards were presented to Mr. Bill Whitehouse and Mr. Robert Harper on 5-6 November at the Thai Pavilion, World Travel Market (WTM) 2018, London.
Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Thailand Tourism and Sports, said “It is a great pleasure and honour to present the Thailand Elite Card to the three distinguished experts and welcome them as friends of Thailand.
“This exclusive card will allow them to visit Thailand as often as they wish and enjoy all the various privileges, benefits and conveniences of the membership including shop privileges, spas, golf courses, restaurants, luxury hotels and resorts.”
