Bangkok, 21 September 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has successfully concluded “Thai T’Reasures by Amazing Thailand”, held from 18–20 September 2026 at River Park, ICONSIAM. Across three days, the event transformed Thai textiles, jewellery, craftsmanship and local wisdom into contemporary fashion experiences, connecting what visitors saw on the runway and throughout the showcase with the people, communities and destinations behind Thailand’s cultural assets.
Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, said, “Fashion can turn Thai identity into an inspiration to travel. TAT sees Fashion Tourism as a way to connect contemporary creativity with the communities, craftsmanship and cultural stories behind each creation. By bringing these elements together, we want visitors to discover not only what Thailand creates, but also where those ideas come from, who creates them and the destinations that give them meaning.”
Presented under the “Fashion Thai The” (literally, “Thai fashion is stylish”) concept, the event brought together established and emerging designers, artists, entrepreneurs, students and communities. Through fashion shows, creative collaborations, exhibitions and retail experiences, TAT connected interest in fashion with Thai textiles, jewellery, artisanship and local stories at their source, presenting Fashion Tourism as another way to experience Thailand through contemporary creativity and living cultural heritage.
The event opened with a Grand Opening Performance and T-POP Show × Fashion led by MEYOU, followed by “Wear the Thai T’Reasures”, a major runway showcase featuring eight Thai designer brands – KLOSET, JANESUDA, Painkiller Atelier, RAPEE, Maison Wonder Anatomie, SANGBOON, THITHA and Made by Hotcake – together with works from ICONCRAFT and Thai gems and jewellery. Under the concept “365 Fashion Thai The Dai Thuk Wan” (literally, “Thai fashion can be stylish every day”), the collection presented Thai textiles and jewellery for contemporary lifestyles while retaining the craftsmanship, identity and stories of their origins.
The second day featured runway presentations by Warinnaya, Marionsiam and Clothear, joined by performers from ONE31. The final day placed the next generation in focus, with fashion design students from Thammasat University, Silpakorn University, Srinakharinwirot University and regional universities presenting their work alongside performances by COMPASS and contemporary ranat musician Fino the Ranad.
Across all three days, visitors also experienced the TAT × Thai Designer Collaboration, featuring three special-edition prototypes. RAVIPA presented Naga jewellery under “Faith to Fashion”, linking belief with spiritual and cultural tourism; PREMIUM POPS × TRK presented multifunctional textile and headwear under “Art to Journey”, connecting contemporary Thai art with travel; and THITHA presented a dress incorporating discarded silkworm cocoon shells under “Waste to Worth”, demonstrating the potential of local materials in sustainable fashion.
Beyond the runway, the “Wear the Destination” exhibition extended the fashion-to-travel connection through “10 Textile Journeys Across Thailand”, using interactive displays to link textiles with their places of origin, artisans, local knowledge, communities and destinations. The “Thai Fashion Marketplace” complemented the exhibition with contemporary products from entrepreneurs, retailers and communities nationwide, allowing visitors to discover and purchase items while learning about the makers and stories behind them.
