Bangkok, 24 September 2026 – Thai Digital Platform Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. (TAGTHAi), developer of Thailand’s national digital tourism platform, is supporting HENRY’s First Dates, a family romantic comedy released nationwide on 17 September 2026, as part of its efforts to use screen storytelling to inspire travel and create wider economic opportunities for local communities.

Mrs. Kanokwan Boonchai, Chief Executive Officer of TAGTHAi, said, “Film is one of the most powerful forms of media for sharing Thailand’s stories, beauty and distinctive identity with broad audiences, both in Thailand and overseas. When presented through an emotional and relatable lens that reflects people’s feelings, lifestyles and local ways of life in each area, film can create a strong connection with viewers and inspire them to visit the real places featured on screen.”

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and GDH 559 Co., Ltd., HENRY’s First Dates was filmed in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Phuket, Phang-nga, Krabi and Chiang Rai, spanning both major and secondary destinations. The locations showcase Thailand’s natural landscapes, cultural experiences and community settings, giving audiences a broader view of travel possibilities beyond the country’s best-known tourism centres.

TAGTHAi’s sponsorship seeks to turn interest generated by the film into travel demand. By encouraging audiences to discover the locations featured on screen, the initiative aims to generate visitor spending for local businesses and communities while extending tourism opportunities across the six provinces.

The partnership also reflects TAGTHAi’s broader role in connecting travel inspiration with its national digital tourism platform. Through technology and digital services, TAGTHAi links travellers with destinations, tourism products and local experiences while supporting wider participation by communities and tourism businesses in Thailand’s visitor economy.
