Accor opens Pullman Khao Lak Resort and Spa

Bangkok, 16 July, 2014 – Accor has signed a new agreement to take over the management of Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa Resort. The property will be rebranded Pullman Khao Lak Resort and Spa by November 2014.

The resort, with its 245 breath-taking rooms and 75 lavish villas, many of which come with their own private swimming pool, is located along 600 metres of pristine beachfront that overlooks the clear turquoise Andaman Sea in Khao Lak, Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand, and is just an hour drive from Phuket International Airport.

The resort’s facilities include six exciting food and beverage venues ranging from casual beach restaurants to more formal specialty restaurants, five enormous swimming pools, a luxurious spa, two fitness centres, and a variety of state-of-the-arts meeting and conference rooms that are available for medium-to-large size meeting and events.

Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer for Accor Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines says, “We are excited to add this resort to our network of upscale Pullman resorts in the region, joining the ranks of successful sister hotels such as Pullman Phuket Arcadia, Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana and Pullman Danang Beach Resort.

“This new agreement will strengthen our position as the region’s leading hotel operator of luxury and upscale resorts and offer a wider selection of hotels for our guests to choose from.”

Khao Lak is one of Thailand’s most attractive beach resort destinations, renowned for its serene unspoiled natural resources and world-class diving sites in nearby national parks.
