Bangkok, 9 July, 2014 – The Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) has been selected as venue for the 1st Domestic MICE Mart in Thailand. The mart took place on 4 July 2014.
Organised by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the mart served as platform for discussions and experience sharing for leading players in the meetings and events industry in the kingdom. It also featured a roadmap presentation on the future of Thailand’s MICE industry, a table top sale session and an award ceremony for TCEB’s MICE blogger competition.
The event attracted representatives from over 50 MICE venues and some 30 domestic MICE buyers.
TCEB President Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai said, “PEACH is an exceptional venue and we are very happy that the event took place here. The food, service and overall arrangement was perfect.
“I am also very pleased with the turnouts [of Thailand’s 1st Domestic MICE Mart] and TCBE will do its best to continually promote MICE business in Thailand. We have many interesting programs in the pipeline.”
