Unicorn Hospitality to manage Kalara hotels

Bangkok, 21 May, 2015 – Unicorn Hospitality has signed an agreement to manage Koh Samui-based Kalara Hotels and Resorts’ global sales, bolstering Unicorn’s portfolio of high profile clients.

The deal follows the Bangkok-based company’s recent agreement with Japanese holistic cosmetic brand RICE FORCE to handle its sales and marketing in Thailand.

Kalara operates two luxury “design” hotels on Samui – Code, a new cutting edge resort boasting exceptional comfort levels overlooking the golden sand and cerulean waters of Bang Por Beach, and Lanna, an uber chic contemporary resort featuring beautifully appointed suites and located in the heart of bustling Bangrak village near pristine Big Buddha Bay.

Kalara Hotels & Resorts is part of Kalara International Properties, an award winning, multi-faceted company founded as a real estate agency but now highly successful in property management, luxury villa rentals, development and investment with a presence in Phuket, Bangkok, Krabi, Pattaya and Koh Phangan.

The resilience of Koh Samui’s hospitality sector was illustrated last year when, despite long-running political unrest in the country that led to a coup, international passenger arrivals at the resort island increased 4% year on year, according to the recent Hotel Update 2015 report published by C9 Hotelworks.
