Bangkok, 23 May 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) respectfully joins the Thai people in expressing admiration for Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya on receiving the Grand Officier of the Légion d’honneur from the French Republic at the Ministry of Culture in Paris on 22 May 2026.
The distinction recognises Her Royal Highness’s distinguished contribution to cultural relations, design, textiles, fine arts, creative industries, and the enduring friendship between Thailand and France. It also reflects growing international appreciation for Thailand’s cultural refinement, artistic depth, and creative talent.
Through Her Royal Highness’s work, Thai textiles, royal dress heritage, artisan knowledge, and contemporary design are presented as living cultural expressions with international resonance. Her vision gives Thailand’s creative heritage renewed relevance, linking craftsmanship with identity, place, and the elegance of Thai cultural continuity.
This recognition also strengthens Thailand’s global cultural narrative for tourism. It invites international audiences to discover the kingdom through fashion, craftsmanship, creative districts, heritage routes, local communities, and destinations where Thai identity can be experienced with authenticity and grace.
