Bangkok, 28 September 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), together with Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (TPC), is providing assistance at Suvarnabhumi Airport to those affected by weather-related travel conditions in Bangkok and surrounding areas, including international visitors, passengers remaining at the airport, airport and airline personnel, immigration officers, and staff from relevant agencies continuing to perform their duties.
TAT and TPC have prepared more than 1,000 sets of food, including cup noodles and rice meals, together with drinking water for distribution on 28 and 29 September 2026. Executives and staff volunteers from both organisations are taking part in the distribution at the passenger terminal, providing practical assistance to visitors, passengers and personnel affected by the situation.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said, “Our immediate concern is for visitors, passengers and everyone who has been affected by the current travel conditions. We recognise the difficulties they may be experiencing and hope this assistance provides some comfort while they are at the airport. We are also mindful of the airport, airline, immigration and other personnel who continue to support travellers during this period.”
