Bangkok, 10 March 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with Netflix and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, invites One Piece fans and visitors to experience GRAND LINE IN THAILAND at Lumpini Park, Bangkok, from 8–15 March 2026, coinciding with the premiere of ONE PIECE Into the Grand Line on Netflix today.
TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, together with Bangkok Governor Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, officially opened the event on 7 March, ahead of the large-scale immersive experience now welcoming visitors in the heart of the Thai capital.
Ms. Thapanee said, “GRAND LINE IN THAILAND reflects TAT’s strategy to drive tourism through event marketing and pop culture, while strengthening Bangkok’s image as a global event city and expanding its appeal among younger travellers and fans worldwide. Through collaboration with Netflix, TAT is confident the event will strengthen international awareness, encourage travel to Bangkok, and increase visitor spending, while reinforcing Thailand’s position as a destination ready to welcome world-class content and experiences.”
Following a strong public response over its opening days, GRAND LINE IN THAILAND has transformed the lake area near the pedal boat service point at Lumpini Park into the Grand Line – the legendary sea route from the world of One Piece – creating a distinctive tourism experience that blends entertainment, creativity and Bangkok city life.
Visitors can enjoy a range of themed attractions, including LUFFY WEFIE, an interactive wide-angle photo opportunity with Captain Luffy in his signature pose, CHOPPER MEETING POINT, a dedicated fan discovery spot, and NAKAMA’S YARD, a scenic relaxation area where visitors may borrow One Piece-themed picnic mats free of charge for one hour upon registration with a Thai national ID card.
A major highlight is the Pirate Pedal Boat experience, where visitors can take on the role of pirate captains and cruise across the lake towards Laboon, the legendary giant whale recreated as a floating centrepiece and photo landmark. Three themed boat designs are available: the Going Merry, the Baroque Works vessel, and a Marine warship inspired by the series.
The Pirate Pedal Boat operates from 07.00–13.00 Hrs. and 14.00–18.30 Hrs., while photo zones and activity areas are open daily from 07.00–22.00 Hrs. Admission is free.
